Baltic Capitals and Russia We're proud to partner with PerryGolf™ on a Baltic Sea voyage at the peak of summer. Visit six countries in ten days, including three days in magnificent St. Petersburg. Golfers will play at Gorki Golf Club, the first and only championship golf course in northwest Russia; Hirsala Golf Club in Helsinki; and The Scandinavian designed by Robert Trent Jones II, just outside Copenhagen. There's also an option for a three-night pre-voyage stay in Stockholm with golf at the outstanding Bro Hoff Slott and Ullna clubs. Non-golfers will see a different side of the Baltic at every port. Estonia launched its independence movement with a Singing Revolution, and today it's still singing with more than 700 choirs. Visit the old churches and Tallinn's charming medieval old town, stopping for lunch at one of the restaurants on the square. Then browse the artisans' shops that line the narrow streets. Over three days there's time to see St. Petersburg's magnificent palaces with cascading fountains and formal gardens, churches glittering with gold and inlaid with marble, vast public squares, a famous fortress, and of course the Hermitage. Many optional tours include an evening at the ballet. Helsinki is famous for innovative design and a quirky, creative spirit. Where else can you find a church carved from rock or a Sibelius monument with pipes that seem to sing with the breeze? Visit one of the market halls, take an architecture tour, or mingle with the Finns in Esplanade Park in the heart of the city. In green, clean Copenhagen most people get around on bikes in the city center. In fact, they have bike traffic jams here. It's a beautiful city with a medieval core and picturesque little neighborhoods linked by cobblestone streets and canals. A wave of innovation in food and design has recently put Copenhagen on the map in a new way. For a taste, visit offbeat Vesterbro or the main shopping street of Strøget. Denmark's northernmost city of Aalbord has history dating to the Vikings and Iron Age. Visit an amazing, well-preserved Viking burial site, or for a more surreal experience, step into an elevator on one of the town's busiest shopping streets and descend to the ruins of a medieval Franciscan Monastery. You'll feel just like Harry Potter at the train station. For a taste of modern Aalbord, stroll the beautiful waterfront or visit Utzon Center, designed by a native son who also designed the Sydney Opera House. At the end of your voyage you'll sail to Oslo, Norway. Have you ever seen the Norwegian fjords? If not, book a back-to-back voyage, because that's coming next.
